Role: Legal Secretary

Location: Wolverhampton or Birmingham (office-based)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
The Role
We are recruiting a Corporate Secretary to join the firm’s Corporate department. The role is office-based and will involve providing high-level secretarial support to fee earners within the Corporate team.
This position would suit someone who is currently working, or has recently worked, in the Corporate department of a law firm and is comfortable handling large, heavily amended documents.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing secretarial support to the Corporate team
*Red lining (track changes) and page-turning on large, hand-amended documents
*Producing, amending and formatting legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy
*Using digital dictation to prepare correspondence and legal documents
*Managing files and supporting fee earners with day-to-day administrative tasks
*Ensuring documents are prepared and filed efficiently and within required timeframes
Candidate Requirements
*Current or recent experience within the Corporate department of a law firm
*Strong experience in red lining and working through heavily amended documents
*Digital dictation experience is essential
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based legal environment
