Job Description:
Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Dorchester
An established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its respected litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of personal and commercial dispute resolution matters, excluding property disputes which are handled by a separate team.
You will advise clients on disputes and claims, draft legal documents and correspondence, carry out legal research in line with the SRA Code of Conduct and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment, with access to training and clear career progression.
Applicants should be qualified Solicitors in England and Wales with a minimum of two years’ PQE in dispute resolution or civil litigation.
A strong understanding of litigation procedures and ADR is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation and client-care skills. The ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively as part of a team is essential.
