Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our welcoming early years setting in West London. The successful candidate will support the learning and development of children aged 0–5 years, providing high-quality care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities*Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children
*Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning and development
*Carry out observations and assessments to track children’s progress
*Take on Key Person responsibilities and build positive relationships with families
*Support children with daily routines, including meals and personal care
*Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
*Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards
*Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures
Requirements*Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
*Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a nursery or early years setting
*Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*A caring, reliable, and professional approach
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable Skills*Paediatric First Aid certificate
*Experience supporting children with SEND
*Familiarity with nursery management systems (e.g. Tapestry, Famly)
*Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
