Role SummaryWe are looking for a passionate and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early years setting in Stratford, East London. You will play a key role in supporting children aged 0–5 years, helping them to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment, following the EYFS framework.
Key Duties and Responsibilities*Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children
*Support the planning and delivery of creative learning activities
*Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and development
*Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families
*Support children’s personal care routines and daily needs
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
*Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of care
*Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
*Communicate effectively with parents and carers on a daily basis
Person Specification*Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
*Minimum 1 year’s experience in a nursery or early years setting
*Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to childcare
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable (but not essential)*Paediatric First Aid certificate
*Experience working in a diverse, multicultural setting
*Knowledge of SEND support
*Experience using nursery software (e.g. Tapestry, Famly)
