Overview
Adaptable Recruitment is working with a growing organisation in Liverpool to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an excellent chance to join a supportive finance team in a modern working environment. The position suits someone who enjoys a varied purchase ledger role, works accurately and can confidently manage deadlines.

Key Duties
*Processing and validating supplier invoices using internal systems
*Completing supplier statement reconciliations
*Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
*Matching invoices to purchase orders and ensuring authorisation
*Preparing data for scheduled payment runs
*Assisting with month-end routines
*Handling incoming post and carrying out administrative tasks
*Using online banking systems when required


Skills and Experience Required
*Previous experience in an Accounts Payable essential
*Good working knowledge of accounting software
*Strong accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
*Clear communication skills when working with suppliers and internal teams
*Solid IT skills, particularly with Excel
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team
