Job Description:
Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in your local area this Term?
We are currently recruiting Day-to-Day and Long-Term SEN Supply Teaching Assistants to work across SEN schools and specialist provisions in and around Shrewsbury.
Due to continued growth and strong demand from our partnering SEN schools, we are looking for passionate, caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants who share our commitment to supporting children and young people with additional needs.
We truly value our SEN support staff and recognise the dedication, patience and resilience required when working in specialist environments. In return, our schools value the excellent service standards, professionalism and compassion our staff bring every day.
Working in SEN can be challenging, but it is incredibly rewarding. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEND, EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD and complex needs, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally in a safe and nurturing environment.
If you are calm under pressure, adaptable, and passionate about making a real difference to children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
We offer local SEN work, competitive pay rates, and most importantly, a supportive, respectful approach that puts you first.
What we’re looking for:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent)
* Recent experience working in SEN schools or supporting pupils with additional needs
* A good understanding of individual learning needs and behaviour support strategies
* The ability to think on your feet and adapt to different SEN settings
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
What Aspire People can offer you:
* £100 bonus after you have worked 10 days
* Holiday pay
* Flexible work in SEN schools local to where you live
* Long-term and permanent SEN opportunities
* A dedicated consultant to support you with placements, CV advice and interview preparation
* Industry-leading pay rates
* Access to free online SEN-focused CPD training
* Refer a friend scheme - earn £250 for referring a qualified teacher
* Dedicated in-house compliance, payroll, HR and accounts teams to support you
If you’re ready to take the next step in your SEN career and want flexible work that truly makes a difference, apply today.
