Warehouse Manager

We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor / Senior Warehouse Assistant to join a small, close-knit warehouse team. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being operational while also overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, maintaining high standards of safety and organisation, and supporting the wider logistics and supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities
*Overseeing daily warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, and inventory control
*Preparing and palletising orders ready for dispatch
*Booking outgoing pallets using internal logistics software
*Coordinating with shipping agents, suppliers, and internal colleagues
*Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organised warehouse
*Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
*Managing and supporting a small warehouse team
*Completing local deliveries (average twice per week) using a Luton van
Key Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory or managerial role
*Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
*Forklift experience essential (valid certification advantageous)
*Confident driving a Luton van
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
*Clear communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
