Job Description:
Clover Talent is supporting a leading provider of umbrella payroll, CIS and limited company accountancy services, focused on contractors and recruitment agencies across the UK. They have built strong relationships with recruiters and contractors by delivering compliant, transparent payroll solutions alongside exceptional service levels.
Role Overview
As part of the sales team, you will drive new business growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with recruitment agencies and contractor partners. The role combines B2B sales, relationship management and a consultative approach, with structured support for training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
*Prospect and generate new leads with recruitment agencies
*Develop structured sales pitches and present services effectively
*Manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact through to close
*Attend meetings and events to represent the company and network with decision-makers
*Build strong, consultative relationships with new and existing agency partners
*Understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly
*Provide clear communication and follow-up from first contact to onboarding
*Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth client implementation
*Record all activity and opportunities in the CRM
*Report on activity levels, forecasts, business wins
Skills & Experience
*Proven experience in B2B business development or sales, ideally within umbrella payroll, contractor services, financial services, or recruitment-related solutions
*Strong understanding of the recruitment agency and contractor market
*Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and close new business
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
*Confident working to revenue and activity targets
*Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
*Commercially minded and results-driven
*Professional, confident, and credible when engaging senior stakeholders
*Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
