Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor - Remote (Leads Provided)

About the Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced advisor (at least 12 months’ experience is highly desirable) to thrive in a flexible, supportive environment. We offer a competitive commission structure, with typical On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from £50,000 to over £100,000 per year, depending on your performance and self-generated business.

*Hours: Total flexibility to manage your own diary and client appointments, including evenings/weekends to suit client needs
Key Responsibilities
*Effectively manage and convert a consistent flow of high-quality leads.
*Conduct comprehensive fact-finds with clients to understand their mortgage and protection needs.
*Provide expert, compliant, and client-centric advice using lenders and insurers from the whole of market.
*Guide clients through the entire application process, liaising with lenders, solicitors, and other professionals.
*Proactively seek new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
*Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice adheres strictly to FCA regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Skills
*Mandatory Qualification: Full CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification (e.g., CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice) is essential.
*Experience: Previous experience as a competent mortgage and protection advisor, ideally for at least 12 months, is preferred.
*FCA Status: Must meet the FCA’s "fit and proper" test and be eligible for approved person status (or already have Competent Adviser Status - CAS).
*Mindset: A self-motivated, disciplined, and entrepreneurial approach with strong time-management and communication skills.
