Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to define, lead, and embed a global procurement strategy within a growing professional services organisation operating across multiple jurisdictions.
This is a high-impact role with responsibility for end-to-end procurement governance, supplier management, and commercial oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost optimisation, risk management, regulatory compliance, and enabling digital and operational transformation across the business.
The role is well suited to a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys operating with autonomy, influencing senior stakeholders, and building robust procurement frameworks from the ground up.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Governance
*Define, implement, and own a global procurement framework.
*Establish consistent governance, due diligence, and risk controls for supplier onboarding.
*Streamline and improve supplier engagement and procurement processes.
Supplier & Contract Management
*Own the full commercial life cycle of supplier relationships.
*Review and manage supplier contracts, pricing models, renewals, and co-terming opportunities.
*Lead commercial negotiations and benchmarking exercises.
*Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing history, and supplier documentation.
*Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and relationship check-ins.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
*Perform ongoing pricing and cost analysis to identify efficiencies.
*Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Review Statements of Work and proposals to ensure commercial alignment.
RFI/RFP & New Supplier Engagements
*Design and manage structured RFI and RFP processes.
*Develop and maintain standardised RFI/RFP templates and documentation.
*Ensure NDAs and contractual protections are in place before new engagements.
*Partner with internal stakeholders to assess and select appropriate vendors.
Skills & ExperienceExperience
*Proven experience in a centralised procurement role, ideally within a global or multi-jurisdictional organisation.
*Background in professional services or financial services strongly preferred.
*Demonstrable experience negotiating complex commercial contracts.
*Strong track record in strategic sourcing, supplier governance, and relationship management.
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
*MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Skills & Attributes
*Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
*Confident negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
*Experience working with procurement systems and digital procurement tools.
*Structured, methodical, and comfortable operating autonomously.
*Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
