The Role
You will support teachers by preparing practical resources, maintaining laboratory spaces, and ensuring all equipment and materials are ready for use. This role suits candidates with a science background who are keen to work in education.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare materials and equipment for science practicals
*Support lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
*Maintain laboratories to a high standard
*Manage chemical storage and stock control
*Carry out routine safety and equipment checks
*Assist staff with practical demonstrations
*Adhere to health, safety, and safeguarding requirements

Person Specification
*Degree or qualification in a science-related subject preferred
*Previous laboratory or school-based experience advantageous
*Strong organisational and time-management skills
*High attention to safety and detail
*Right to work in the UK
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

*Full-time role
*Monday to Friday, standard school hours
