Permanent Experienced Asbestos Surveyor
Essex Based
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000
Penguin is currently seeking a highly experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a team on a permanent, full-time basis.. We pride ourselves on transparency and professionalism and are looking for someone who shares these values.
About the Role:
This is a permanent role, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to be part of a growing, well-respected company in the asbestos industry. You will be expected to travel UK-wide, conducting surveys across a wide range of sites-80% of which are commercial.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional evening/weekend or "working away" requirements will be compensated accordingly.
Salary & Benefits:
*Competitive salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities:
*Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264
*Produce high-quality reports using company software
*Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams professionally
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
*Represent the company with punctuality, professionalism, and integrity
*Travel nationwide as required
Requirements:
*Minimum of 5 years’ dedicated experience in asbestos surveying
*BOHS P402 (or equivalent) qualification
*Strong commercial survey experience essential
*Full UK driving licence
*Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
*Must be Essex-based
