Job Description:
6 Month Fixed Term Contract, Assistant Accountant, £40,000-£50,000 - 1 day working from home
Greenwell Gleeson are working with a business who are seeking an immediately available assistant accountant who can assist the finance team with end to end accounts payable and supporting with the day to day accounting activities.
The role will be initially based from their Dudley site for the first two months and then will be relocated to Worcester for the remainder of the contract.
Duties:
Process invoices and credit notes into ERP System
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Match purchase orders with invoices
Resolution of purchase order queries
Correspond with suppliers relating to issues
Credit Control support
Month-end support
Ad hoc finance/administration tasks as necessary
Balance sheet reconciliation
Journal postings
Reconcile vendor statement and rectify any differences
Support internal and externals audits as needed
CIS submissions
Bank reconciliation and upload
Further Information:
* Salary range - £40k-£50k annual equivalent, depending on experience
* Hours of Work - 37.5 hours a week
* Hybrid available - 1 day WFH
* Fixed Term Contract 6 months
* Holidays - 25 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays
* Pension - 4%
