Job Description:
Teaching Assistant
Location: Bedford
Type: Temporary - until April or June (workload dependant)
Salary: £12.21 per hour – Weekly Pay, Term-Time Only
Hours: Part & Full Time hours - between 8.45am - 4.20pm
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities?
We are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join our client’s team in Bedford. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact in a dedicated educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND.
*Adapt learning activities and materials to meet individual needs.
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development.
*Assist in monitoring and recording progress.
*Promote an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Requirements:
*Enhanced DBS on the update service essential.
*Level 2 in Maths and English & Level 3 qualification in care-based topic.
*Experience working with young people, ideally with SEND.
*Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
