Job Title: NDT Level 2 Technician
Location: Leicester Area
Hours: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm, Friday 6:00am–11:30am (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician to join our client’s quality team at a leading aerospace manufacturing facility. This is a long-term opportunity offering career progression, structured development, and the chance to work in a cutting-edge aerospace environment.
The role involves supporting NDT inspection and laboratory activities. You will be an integral part of a team that focuses on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to Level 2 standards
*Read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and engineering drawings
*Use a variety of measurement equipment, both conventional and SMART
*Solve practical problems within the NDT area and maintain high-quality standards
*Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained
*Pass Jaeger J1, Curpax J2, and Ishihara tests
Required Experience:
*Level 2 NDT certification in FPI and MPI (or FPI with strong MPI experience)
*Relevant EN4179 experience or qualification
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in an NDT role
*Aerospace experience advantageous
Salary Package:
*£19.59 per hour Including 17.5% shift allowance
