Conveyancing Team Leader – Leicester

A highly regarded, Legal 500 recognised and award-winning law firm, with offices across the East Midlands, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Conveyancer to join as a Team Leader, managing and developing their expanding Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior conveyancer who enjoys leadership responsibilities alongside fee earning and wants to play a key role in shaping and growing a successful department.
What you’ll be doing:

Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
*Sales and purchases (including leasehold and new-build)
*Re-mortgages
*Equity release
*Transfers of equity
In your Team Leader capacity, you will also:
*Lead, manage, and develop the Residential Conveyancing team
*Act as a point of escalation and support for junior fee earners
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
*Drive business development and contribute to departmental growth
*Ensure high standards of compliance, organisation, and file management
*Work confidently with minimal supervision
*Use case management systems effectively and promote best practice across the team
About You:*Proven experience within a busy residential conveyancing team
*Confident managing a full conveyancing caseload independently
*Previous experience in a Team Leader / supervisory / management role (essential)
*Strong business development skills
*Excellent organisational and compliance skills
*IT literate, with prior experience using case management systems
*Formal qualifications are welcomed but not essential — the firm is happy to invest in your development, including CLC or SQE routes, if applicable
