Job Description:
MTrec’s New Opportunity:
*MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Trimdon area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
*Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day
*Assembly - Fixing and assembling small components for the rail and transport sector
*Fitting nuts, washers and bolts
*Use of glue guns
*Apply adhesives accurately to panel surfaces
*Fit aluminium and plastic rails to panels using hand tools and fixtures
*Use clamping tools to secure components during the bonding process
*Pack finished products carefully for dispatch, following packing guidelines
*Use of different hand and power tools
*Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
*General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required
*Strict adherence to health and safety standards
*Keeping the work area tidy, by sweeping and emptying bins if needed
The Person:
*Familiar with hand tools
*Must have excellent attention to detail
*Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards
*Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
*A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
