Job Description:
Established for 50 years, this well-established and highly respected supplier has become a market leader, known for its exceptional service and always going the extra mile, and their customer-first approach has helped it build a loyal customer base.
They are now looking to welcome a dedicated Credit Controller to their team, initially temporarily, with a clear expectation that the role will become permanent for the right candidate.
What’s in it for you?
*Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
*Salary: £13.40 per hour equivalent to £27,175.20 per annum
*TEMP* Credit Controller Responsibilities:
*Manage and chase outstanding customer invoices to ensure timely payment and minimise overdue accounts
*Call businesses to agree on payment solutions that satisfy both parties
*Conduct accurate bank reconciliations and use your finance know-how to resolve discrepancies
*Handle inbound telephone calls regarding payment queries and account status
*Maintain up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions
*Process customer payments
*Utilise your strong numerical skills to support the accounts function
*TEMP* Credit Controller Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience in a similar credit control or collections role
*Confident and experienced in making outbound calls, demonstrates a professional and approachable telephone manner
*Excellent attention to detail, can spot inaccuracies and input information with accuracy
*Naturally numerical, has an understanding of figures
*Can work on own initiative and approaches tasks with a can-do mindset
*IT literate, can use Microsoft packages, and an understanding of finance software would be an advantage
