HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Home Delivery
Location: Milton Keynes
Pay Rate: £17.71 per hour
Start Time: 07:00
Days: Monday to Friday (with additional Saturdays available)
Contract Type: Full-time, temporary
M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our client’s home delivery team based in Milton Keynes .
Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of customers’ products, completing both multi-drop and direct deliveries to residential addresses and stores within surrounding areas.
If your HIAB licence has expired, the client will cover the cost of a HIAB refresher course.
Job Responsibilities:
*Completing an average of 5–10 deliveries per day
*Delivering bulk items to customers’ homes using an HGV Class 2 HIAB vehicle
*Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
*Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
*Providing excellent face-to-face customer service
*Demonstrating flexibility with start times based on business needs
*Working independently while maintaining professionalism
Requirements:
*Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
*Valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC
*HIAB licence (ALLMI C5) – refresher can be arranged if expired
*Comfortable driving an automatic vehicle
*Previous customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential)
*Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive attitude
*Ability to work independently
*Must successfully pass a DBS check
Additional Information:
*Drivers will be based at the home store but will collect and deliver to surrounding stores and customer locations.
*This role offers consistent weekday work with optional Saturdays.
