Logistics Coordinator
Location: Horsham Salary: 15.20ph Contract Type: Temporary Industry: Logistics
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly regulated logistics team. You will play a key role in ensuring clinical trial products are delivered safely, compliantly, and on time. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, external clients, and courier partners to ensure every shipment is executed seamlessly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage the import process, including reviewing documentation and providing accurate clearance instructions to customs for all incoming shipments.
*Oversee the export process, preparing and raising all required export documentation.
*Accurately enter shipment details into the courier ERP system to support smooth collection and delivery.
*Maintain all order-related paperwork in line with regulatory, study, and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) requirements.
*Proactively handle internal and external client enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
*Support general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and maintaining office organisation.
Experience & Skills Required
*Previous experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
*Experience within an operational or logistics-focused role.
*Confident using electronic and automated systems.
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
*Excellent planning and organisational skills.
*Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
*Ability to guide, mentor, and support colleagues when required.
*Commitment to maintaining training standards within a regulated environment.
*High level of accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
