PMLD Learning Support Assistant (FE) – Always Recruiting
Location: Various FE College Sites
Pay: £15.55–£20 per hour
Contract: Ongoing / Flexible
Experience Required: Must have FE PMLD experience
We are always seeking PMLD Learning Support Assistants to support learners with profound and multiple learning difficulties within Further Education specialist provisions.
You will be part of a caring, multidisciplinary environment supporting learners with high needs.
Role Responsibilities
*Deliver sensory-based learning activities
*Support students with complex physical, medical, and cognitive needs
*Assist with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
*Use specialist communication tools (AAC, sensory communication aids)
*Work closely with therapy teams, nurses, and specialist teaching staff
Requirements
*MUST have experience working with PMLD learners within FE
*Comfortable supporting personal care and complex needs
*Kind, patient, and nurturing approach
*Team player with strong communication skills
*DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process one)
