Talentedge are actively recruiting for an Accountant for a growing accountancy practice based in the West End of London. The salary offered is between £35-40k per annum and offering hybrid working (3 days per week in the office)
Duties include:
*Serve as the lead accountant for a key client in the entertainment industry
*Oversee daily bank reconciliations and cash movements
*Process client payments
*Maintain accurate financial records across multiple platforms
*Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
*Perform cash flow forecasting
*Prepare VAT return submissions
*Prepare FEU returns
*Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
*Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders as required
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal procedures
Applicants must have’s:
*At least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
*Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
*Proficient knowledge of ERP and financial consolidation systems.
*NetSuite experience will be an advantage
*Excellent organisational skills
*Excellent numeracy skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Attention to detail
*Second European language highly preferred
*O Level / GCSE Math’s / English required
*AAT Qualified would be Beneficial
*2 year payroll experience
*Proven analytical skills and problem-solving skills
*EMEA and / or Global experience
