Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) - Contract (Inside IR35) - London
I’m looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a specialty insurance client in London on a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. This role will play a key part in building, supporting, and optimising the Azure cloud estate during a period of growth and transformation.
Contract Details
*Inside IR35
*£600-£700 per day
*6 months with a strong view to extend
*Hybrid working in London 2/3 days per week onsite
Important
Candidates must have hands-on experience working with insurance clients within the last 3 years. This is essential.
Role Overview
*Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure across IaaS and PaaS services
*Deliver infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
*Support CI CD and GitOps workflows alongside development teams
*Provide proactive and reactive operational support
*Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
Experience Required
*Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure experience
*Proven Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
*PowerShell or scripting experience
*Experience working with CI CD pipelines
*Good understanding of cloud security and networking
*Recent insurance or specialty insurance experience within the last 3 years is mandatory
