Job Description:
We are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Harlow. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with additional needs, providing tailored 1:1 support to help them access learning, develop independence, and thrive within the school environment.
The Role:
*Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom
*Support learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo
*Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
*Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
*Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
*Has experience working with children with additional needs
*Is patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships
*Can follow guidance while also using initiative
*Has good communication and teamwork skills
*Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
