Trainee Solicitor (Private Client) — Position Overview:
You will support experienced Private Client Solicitors across a broad range of non-contentious matters, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of private client work while working towards qualification.
Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Solicitor:
• Assisting with the preparation of Wills and codicils
• Supporting Probate and estate administration matters
• Assisting with Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
• Liaising with clients in a professional and sensitive manner
• Conducting file management and compliance tasks
• Attending client meetings with supervising solicitors
• Supporting general Private Client department administration
Requirements of the Trainee Solicitor:
• LPC / SQE completed or in progress (or equivalent)
• A genuine interest in Private Client law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organisation
• Professional, empathetic and client-focused approach
• Willingness to learn and develop under supervision
• Confident IT skills including case management systems
