We are looking for compassionate and skilled Team Leader to help our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.
Marston Court is a thirty-nine capacity care home located in Oxford, dedicated to person-centred methods and offering quality residential, early-stage dementia and respite care for older people.
Care charity and provider The Orders of St John Care Trust are respected in the care sector for a flexible range of care provision, making the most of voluntary sector contributions in order to help vulnerable adults achieve a more dignified lifestyle.
What You’ll be Doing
*Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
*Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
*Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
*Provide emotional support and companionship.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation.
*Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
*Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for residents.
What You’ll Need
*Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a support worker
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
*Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
*NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained
