We are looking for compassionate and skilled Support Worker to help our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.
We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including
*Cerebral palsy
*Brain injury
*Huntington’s disease
*Motor neurone disease
*Multiple sclerosis
*Muscular dystrophy
*Spina bifida & hydrocephalus
*Stroke
Our teams are highly skilled and trained to deliver specialist and complex nursing care and have significant experience with tracheostomy, PEG care, wound management and the provision of end of life care. The full-time support we provide is flexible and designed to help build skills, inspire confidence and encourage people to live more independently.
What You’ll be Doing
*Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
*Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
*Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
*Provide emotional support and companionship.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation.
*Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
*Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for residents.
What You’ll Need
*Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a support worker
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
*Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
*NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained
