The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn how to manage the full recruitment lifecycle while developing your own desk. You don’t need years of experience - just the drive to succeed, the willingness to pick up the phone, and the confidence to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
*Proactively source and engage candidates through calls, job boards, social media, and networking
*Build and maintain long-term client relationships
*Develop your own desk and grow it into a profitable business area
*Conduct candidate interviews and manage the end-to-end recruitment process
*Write compelling job adverts and manage applications
*Work collaboratively with your team to share knowledge, leads, and best practice
*Meet activity and revenue targets with the support of experienced consultants and managers
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, resilience, and a genuine interest in people. Ideally, you’ll have around 12 months’ experience in recruitment or a sales-focused role - but attitude matters more than anything.

With a starting salary of c£26,000-£28,000 depending on your experience, as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you can expect to achieve a further £5K in your first year with commission. From year 2, it will be an average OTE of £10,000 - £15,000
