Salary: £65,000-£70,000
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanning Manager to lead and develop our paraplanning function in Harpenden. This is a senior role for someone who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership and people-management skills.
The RoleAs Paraplanning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality paraplanning support to advisers, managing workflows, and ensuring technical excellence and compliance across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and mentoring a team of paraplanners
*Overseeing the preparation and quality of suitability reports and financial planning documentation
*Managing workloads, deadlines, and service standards
*Acting as a technical lead and point of escalation
*Supporting process improvements and best practice across the paraplanning function
*Working closely with advisers, compliance, and senior management
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
*A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a paraplanning management role
*Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and wider financial planning
*Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating paraplanning teams
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders
