Job Description:
We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for secondary schools across Waltham Forest, supporting students with a range of learning, behaviour, and pastoral needs.
This is a practical, people-focused role. You may be working one-to-one with a student who needs help managing their emotions, supporting a small group in lessons, or stepping in to help keep a class calm and focused.
The Role:
*Providing in-class support across a range of subjects
*Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs
*Helping maintain a positive and structured learning environment
*Supporting teachers with behaviour management
*Building strong relationships with students and staff
We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with young people (education, care, youth work, mentoring)
*A calm, proactive, and supportive approach
*Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils
*Flexibility and a willingness to adapt
*Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
