Junior Finance Business Partner Location: Bradford (Hybrid – 3 days on site)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + benefits
A well-established retailer is looking to appoint a Junior Finance Business Partner to join its commercial finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who is keen to move into a business-facing, commercially focused role, where insight and influence genuinely shape decision-making.
Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, you’ll operate in a cross-functional environment, working closely with commercial, operations, and finance teams to translate financial data into meaningful insight.
The RoleAs Junior Finance Business Partner, you will:
*Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted finance partner to key stakeholders
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, owning customer P&Ls from Net Revenue to EBIT
*Deliver timely, accurate reporting and insightful analysis to support commercial decision-making
*Develop and maintain financial models to assess pricing, promotions, tenders, and new business opportunities
*Provide customer and product profitability analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
*Challenge stakeholders constructively to drive performance improvement
*Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and reporting to enhance insight and efficiency
*Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive finance team culture
About YouTo be successful, you will:
*Be studying towards a recognised finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) – study support provided
*Demonstrate strong business partnering skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight
*Be comfortable providing informed, solution-focused challenge
*Have experience producing high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and data insights
*Be confident building financial models and drawing out commercial recommendations
*Possess strong communication skills, able to engage non-financial stakeholders
*Be commercially astute, detail-oriented, and naturally curious
*Thrive in a cross-functional, matrix-managed environment
*Have a digital mindset, with experience using tools such as Power BI, SAP, Tableau
*Understand the importance of data integrity, security, and UK financial compliance standards
