QA Engineer (ServiceNow)Location: Marlow / Hybrid
Salary: £40,000 - £52,500 + Benefits
Reporting to: IT Test Lead
The OpportunityWe’re looking for a QA Engineer with strong ServiceNow experience to join a growing Business Systems team working on a large-scale ServiceNow platform. This is a key role within a dedicated ServiceNow delivery squad, where quality, reliability, and continuous improvement are central to everything we do.
You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping test strategy, owning test execution, and ensuring high-quality releases across ServiceNow modules. If you’re passionate about testing, enjoy working closely with delivery teams, and want to make a real impact on enterprise ServiceNow implementations, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing*Leading QA activities within a ServiceNow delivery squad
*Creating, reviewing, and executing test plans and test scripts (manual and automated)
*Testing ServiceNow in-house developments and third-party integrations
*Reviewing user stories and technical/functional specifications to design effective test coverage
*Working closely with Scrum Masters, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts
*Managing and tracking defects, risks, and issues through to resolution
*Supporting regression testing and validating that releases meet business requirements
*Promoting QA best practices and contributing to continuous improvement across testing processes
What We’re Looking For*Proven experience in a QA / Software Testing role
*Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow, particularly:
*ITSM
*CSM
*Strong understanding of the ITIL framework
*Experience creating and executing test cases, managing defects, and performing regression testing within ServiceNow
*Experience with manual and/or automated test execution and analysis of results
*Familiarity with the full SDLC, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
*Experience using test and defect management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps
*Confident working collaboratively with development and delivery teams
*A pragmatic, enthusiastic mindset with a sharp eye for detail
*A genuine passion for quality and continuous learning
Desirable Experience*Designing, developing, and executing ServiceNow ATF test cases
*Exposure to non-functional testing (performance, load, security)
*Experience testing ServiceNow TPSM
*ServiceNow certifications and/or ISTQB certification
