Role Overview:
As a Dispatch Operative, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating outgoing deliveries, ensuring all goods are packed accurately and shipped on time. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
*Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
*Book shipments with couriers and generate delivery documentation (labels, invoices, etc.)
*Ensure accurate stock handling and inventory control
*Maintain a clean and organised dispatch area
*Follow health and safety procedures at all times
*Assist with stocktakes and other warehouse duties when required
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment (manufacturing sector preferred)
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Basic IT skills for booking systems and documentation
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
