GPN are delighted to be partnering with the Financial Services team of a successful audit firm in Central London. They are requiring interim audit support to assist through the remainder of their busy period. This is an urgent requirement, with an immediate start and an initial contract running until the end of April.


The role is suitable for an Audit Senior, Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager with strong banking or financial services audit experience, who can step in quickly and add value with minimal handover.

Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver external audit work for banking and financial services clients
*Lead or support audits from planning through to completion, depending on level
*Review audit work, coach junior team members and provide technical guidance
*Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
*Apply and review reporting under IFRS, with particular exposure to IFRS 9
*Support managers/partners with deadlines, budgets and resourcing as required


What We Are Looking For:
*ACA / ACCA / ICAS/ CPA / CA / CAANZ / SAICA qualified or qualified by experience (finalists considered for Senior level)
*Proven audit experience within banking
*Strong working knowledge of IFRS, ideally including IFRS 9
*Comfortable operating at Senior through Senior Manager level, depending on experience
*Able to start immediately or at very short notice
*Confident, adaptable and used to fast-paced interim environments

*Start: ASAP
*Duration: Until end of April
*Location: London / Hybrid (depending on client requirements)
*Day/Hourly Rate: Lucrative - dependent on level and experience
