Pertemps are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a leading food distribution company. This role is ideal for someone happy to work in a physically active environment, including manual handling, lifting, and supporting warehouse and production operations. Key Duties:
*Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
*High-level picking and stock replenishment
*Goods In: unload deliveries, put-away stock, and rework as needed
*Goods Out: scanning/voice picking, packing, dispatch, and quality check
*Lifting, loading, stacking, and wrapping pallets of stock
*Manual handling and heavy lifting required
*Support production and manufacturing processes
Requirements:
*Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck certificate
*Proven forklift driving experience
*Previous warehouse or production experience
*Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
*Strong work ethic and positive attitude
*Good attention to detail and communication skills
*Flexibility to support the team when needed
Pay & Benefits:
*£13.00 per hour
*Overtime available after 40 hours
*On-site Health & Safety induction on your first day
*Long-term roles with potential for permanent employment
