Job Description:
HGV Workshop Technician Roydon £60-£62k basic OTE £72k Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm + overtime @ 1.5 or 2 x hourly rate

What you’ll be doing as an HGV Technician
*Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of trucks, trailers and LCVs
*Running defect clinics and resolving minor faults on HGVs
*Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
*Completing engine and component inspections within agreed timeframes
*Delivering a "right first time" approach to reduce downtime
*Working on a range of vehicles including large double-deck trailers
*Recording all work via digital job cards and service records
What we’re looking for as an HGV Technician
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
*Experience servicing and maintaining HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*A full, valid UK driving licence is essential
*Confident communicator with a professional, customer-first approach
*A motivated HGV Technician who takes pride in quality work and solving problems
