Job Description:
Full-Time Primary Teacher - SEND Focus
Location: North Chesterfield
Contract: Fixed Term (Until the end of the academic year)
Start: ASAP / As agreed
We are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in North Chesterfield who are seeking a full-time, qualified teacher to work with a small group of SEND pupils.
This role involves teaching a class of 4-6 pupils with a range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Speech and Language needs. You will benefit from a high ratio of Teaching Assistant support, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching, personalised learning, and nurturing progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will: * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have previous experience supporting pupils with SEND (highly desirable)
* Be confident in adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs
* Have a calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Be committed to inclusive practice and pupil well being
