Job Description:
Take ownership of demand planning performance and lead a team that directly improves availability, service levels and supply chain efficiency.

You will lead a demand planning team, influence key stakeholders and see the direct impact of your work on customer availability and commercial performance.

The opportunity
As Team Manager – Demand Planning, you will lead a team responsible for demand forecasting and availability performance across the group. Your focus is to ensure the business has accurate forecasts, clear insight and joined-up communication between teams, customers and suppliers.
This is a role where your leadership improves decision-making, reduces stock risk and strengthens service levels.
What you will do and what you will achieve
*Lead and develop the demand planning team, improving consistency, capability and confidence
*Drive availability performance against KPIs, giving the business clearer control of service levels
*Turn product and supplier strategies into realistic, accurate forecasts
*Improve collaboration between demand planning, purchasing, suppliers and customers
*Identify trends and issues early, allowing corrective action before performance is impacted
*Support continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and improve outcomes
*Play a key role in developing people through coaching, performance reviews and progression planning
Your work will directly improve forecasting accuracy, customer availability and overall supply chain performance.
What you will bring
*Experience in demand planning within a structured supply chain environment
*Previous experience leading or mentoring a team
*Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
*Confidence using ERP or demand planning systems
*The ability to translate data into clear actions and improvements
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
*A proactive, problem-solving mindset
