Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: Warrington (Hybrid working)

About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing construction business and part of a wider, well-established group. They operate across three core arms of the business:
Refurbishment
(Public Sector & Education) Decarbonisation schemes
Roofing & Cladding
With a strong pipeline of work and a leadership team drawn from Tier 1 main contractors, this is a company very much on the up , offering stability, and the chance to help shape a growing regional presence from their new Warrington office.
The Role
They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to play a key role in planning and programming works across multiple projects. The role will support both pre-construction and live delivery teams, ensuring programmes are robust, realistic, and aligned with commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction programmes
across refurbishment, decarb, and roofing/cladding projects Produce tender, pre-construction, and live project programmes
Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site teams to ensure programme accuracy
Monitor progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
Carry out programme updates, reporting, and progress analysis
Support delay analysis and provide input into EOT claims where required
Attend project and client meetings as required
Help embed best practice planning processes as the business continues to grow
About You
Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner
within a main contractor environment Background working on refurbishment, public sector, education, or similar complex projects
Strong working knowledge of planning software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6)
Commercially and contractually aware
Confident communicator, able to work with multiple stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a growing, fast-paced business
