Your New Role:As an Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse and high-value client portfolio and lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing a portfolio of clients with fees totalling approximately £500,000
*Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, ensuring deadlines and queries are managed effectively
*Leading large and complex audits, offering practical solutions to partners
*Identifying and managing firm-wide risks, including reputational and credit risks
*Collating data for inspections, technical reviews, and audit-related enquiries
*Monitoring timesheet entries for accuracy and appropriate coding
*Ensuring audit teams stay within budget and time allocations
*Serving as the primary point of contact for clients on all audit matters
*Responding promptly to client queries and maintaining high service standards
*Supporting business development through proposals, presentations, and networking
What You’ll Need to Succeed


*ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
*Proven experience managing audit teams and client portfolios
*Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
*Ability to implement audit methodologies and communicate technical concepts clearly
*Experience with both substantive and controls-based audits, group reporting, and cross-border engagements
*Familiarity with accounting frameworks such as UK GAAP and FRS
