Are you a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist with experience setting and operating CNC machines looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a growing business with excellent overtime potential and long-term stability?
On offer is an immediate start opportunity where you will become a key part of the machining team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and tight specifications.
This company is a precision engineering specialist producing high-quality CNC machined components to tight tolerances. Supporting sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence and general engineering, they’re known for their high standards, modern machinery and a hands-on culture where skilled machinists can really take pride in what they do.
This role would suit a CNC Machinist with strong mechanical knowledge and a background in milling, who enjoys working with modern CNC equipment in a hands-on production environment.
The Role:
*Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
*Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
*Select and install tooling, fixtures and workholding devices
*Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances
*Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and efficiency
The Person:
*Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist (or similar)
*Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
