Field Service Engineer
Location: Northamptonshire (Field-Based)
Salary: DOE | Hours: Monday–Friday | Overtime Available

Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join its growing service team.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing electro-mechanical production equipment across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing customer equipment
*Responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance
*Diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical faults
*Ensuring all electrical work meets safety and compliance standards
*Testing completed work and resolving any issues found
*Producing clear service and customer visit reports
*Managing company vehicle, tools, and stock
*Delivering a professional, friendly service to customers
*Working safely and in line with company and industry H&S standards
*Staying overnight when required
What We’re Looking For
*Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent engineering qualification (electrical bias preferred)
*Full UK driving licence (up to 3 points accepted)
*Confident working independently in a field service environment
*Forklift licence desirable (training available)
