Job Description:
Licensing Manager – FMCG Sector
Location: Ellesmere Port (Hybrid)
Sector: FMCG – Salary up to £60k + Bonus, (negotiable – depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Licensed Partner Management
*Act as the primary day-to-day contact for UK and global licensed brand partners
*Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with licensors and internal stakeholders
*Ensure compliance with international brand guidelines, licensing agreements and joint marketing requirements
*Maximise licensed brand exposure and market growth opportunities in line with business objectives
*Evaluate and monitor licensed partner performance against agreed KPIs and deliverables
*Support and coordinate licensed new product development (NPD) projects across functions
*Ensure ongoing licence contract compliance, including accurate royalty reporting and issue resolution
Commercial & Business Support
*Support local and global sales teams to ensure marketing strategies align with commercial and revenue objectives
*Contribute to pricing, budgeting and forecasting activities
*Support marketing activation plans, content deliverables and go-to-market execution
*Identify opportunities for regional expansion, portfolio optimisation and value chain savings
Data, Reporting & Analysis
*Prepare and present robust analysis of sales performance, business plan delivery and KPI tracking
*Provide clear, actionable insights to inform decision-making and stakeholder updates
*Maintain high standards of data accuracy and reporting discipline
*Strong Excel capability required
Cross-Functional Collaboration
*Work closely with Marketing, Brand, R&D, Quality, Category Management, Local Market Teams and the Licensing Team
*Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and markets
*Support effective internal communication between functions and with external brand partners
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
*Net sales growth and licensed brand performance
*Contract and brand compliance
*Business plan delivery and execution
*Quality and timeliness of reporting and partner engagement
Skills Required:
Experience
*Proven experience in a similar licensed brands, brand partnership or commercial marketing role.
*FMCG experience essential; food sector experience highly desirable.
*Experience working with UK and international stakeholders.
*Must have UK & European Licensing experience
*Fluent in German or French – Advantageous

Education & Languages
*Degree-level education (Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred).
*Postgraduate qualification an advantage.
*Fluent English essential; German or French would be preference
