A very well-established and growing claimant law firm is entering an exciting phase of sustained expansion, driven by continued success and strong marketing performance. As a result of a significant increase in Clinical Negligence instructions, they are seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a busy and ambitious team in Manchester.
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
*Manage a varied caseload of Clinical Negligence claims from inception to conclusion.
*Handle both pre-issue and issued matters, typically valued up to £100k (with higher-value and more complex cases available for the right candidate).
*Undertake detailed legal research and provide clear and practical advice to clients.
*Draft pleadings, witness statements and other key legal documentation.
*Negotiate settlements and represent clients where required.
*Working effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
*Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes.
*Keep up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments.
*Work closely with the head of department on high-value clinical negligence claims including birth injury cases.
About you:
*Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with NQ-3 years’ PQE.
*Demonstrable experience with claimant clinical negligence work.
*Technically strong, with a proactive and tenacious approach to case management.
*Able to manage clients with empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism.
*Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
*Comfortable working to targets in a busy environment.
