English Teacher
Location: Bootle, Merseyside
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £150 - £220 per day (Depends on Experience)
We are looking for a resilient, creative, and energetic English Teacher to join a school that is proud of its heritage and ambitious for its students. This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to empower local young people with the literacy skills they need to succeed.
What You Need:
*QTS/QTLS or a recognised UK teaching qualification.
*A Degree in English or a related subject.
*An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
Duties:
*Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons to KS3 & KS4.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere for all learners.
*Plan and prepare engaging resources tailored to student needs.
*Use effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a productive environment.
*Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to drive progress.
*Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams and internal assessments.
*Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practices and resources.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic achievement.
