We’re recruiting on behalf of a global engineering business specialising in materials testing equipment, with customers and partners worldwide. Available due to internal promotion & business growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineering-minded professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, customer interaction and travel!

Please note: This is a fully on-site role based in Crawley. Candidates must live within commuting distance and hold a full UK driving licence.

The Role:
You’ll support customers across the UK and internationally, providing technical demonstrations, installations, servicing and training on high-performance analytical instrumentation (OES / LIBS). The role combines engineering know-how with relationship-building and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities *Deliver technical demonstrations, installations and customer training
*Provide on-site and remote technical support and servicing
*Support customers and distributors across the UK and internationally
*Assist with product trials, commissioning and customer acceptance
*Act as a technical point of contact between customers and the wider business

Person Specification:
*Engineering, Physics or Science-based qualification
*Hands-on experience with testing instrumentation (ideally OES or LIBS)
*Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
*Enjoys travel and working directly with customers
*Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

The Package:
*Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
*£32,000 – £35,000pa salary (DOE)
*Bonus scheme
