Paralegal - Commercial Property
*Annual Salary: Up to £30,000

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our property team in Southampton, supporting one of our Property Partners. This role is centred around general Commercial Property matters, with a beneficial focus on secured lending and Property finance. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse client base including financial institutions, national businesses, and private investors, delivering high-quality legal services.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Review initial instructions from clients and manage initial communications with all parties including clients, solicitors, lenders, and brokers.
*Identify early issues in instructions and advise on available options.
*Conduct investigations of title, searches, planning positions, enquiries, and any ancillary documentation.
*Raise enquiries as needed with the borrower’s solicitor.
*Draft and review various commercial property documents such as leases, transfers, and security documents.
*Handle the transfer of funds and completion of other fee earner files.
*Prepare reports of title and lease reports.
*Manage pre-completion searches and oversee completion processes.
*Ensure timely registration of documents with Companies House and Land Registry.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
*Good team player with a flexible and proactive approach.
*Previous experience in handling commercial property transactions.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
*A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
