Early Years Teaching Assistant - Quinton, Birmingham
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in Quinton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children at the start of their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils in the Early Years setting (EYFS)
* Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and learning plans
* Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
* Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
Requirements:
* Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) - essential
* Previous experience working in a school or nursery setting - essential
* A good understanding of the EYFS framework
* A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with children
Desirable (but not essential):
* Paediatric First Aid (PFA) training - training can be provided if required
