Global Accounting Network are partnering with an entertainment client who are looking for an Interim Group Financial Accountant to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This position will focus on managing group financial control, treasury management, financial reporting across multiple entities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.


Main Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports across multiple entities.
*Perform G/L entries, including accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
*Produce consolidated management accounts and reporting packs for board review.
*Lead month-end and support year-end processes.
*Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
*Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with external auditors when needed.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting and financial systems.
*Identify and deliver improvements to financial processes and controls.
*Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring payments are made on time.
Ideal Candidate
*Fully qualified accountant with at least 6 months PQE.
*Prior consolidation experience.
*Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
*Experience with financial systems.
*Sector experience is a plus but not a must.
