Job Description:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant plays a vital role supporting class teachers and enhancing pupil learning outcomes in primary schools throughout Bolton and Bury.
Role responsibilities:
* Support classroom activities under teacher guidance
* Assist pupils with learning tasks and help maintain focus
* Supervise groups during lessons, playtimes, and transitions
* Prepare and organise resources for learning activities
* Observe pupil progress and share feedback with class teachers
* Support whole-class behaviour management
Key skills & requirements:
* Experience or qualification at Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, initiative, and confidence with young learners
* Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
